Sugar House Visits
See how gravity helps us collect sap, how we process the sap into maple syrup and bottle it for sale. View our collection tanks and the tubing that brings the sap from the trees to the sugar house. The evaporator will be running so you can feast your senses on our process. Walk through the sugar house, so you can see the syrup tanks, the syrup filter and bottling unit.
Hike
If you are keen and able, you are welcome to hike up a short trail to the maple trees closest to the sugar house. There you will see several tubing lines meeting up before they drop their sweet liquid into the tanks downhill.
Photography
Take your photo amongst the maples.
Video and slideshow presentations will enhance your visit.
Sample
Taste different grades of maple syrup or dissolve a maple candy in your mouth. If you are lucky, you may even be able to experience maple kettle corn. Syrup samples are free.
Learn
You can learn about the health benefits of maple syrup and access recipes and suggestions for using maple syrup for more than just a topping for pancakes.
Door Prizes
All visitors will receive a free ballot for a door prize.
Sales
Maple syrup and other maple products will be available for purchase.
Clothing
This is an outdoor experience in the spring. Boots are strongly recommended as it will be muddy! Rubber boots are ideal. Dress according to the weather conditions.
